Founded in 2002 by cruise industry veterans Frank Del Rio, Joe Watters and Bob Binder, Oceania Cruises offer luxury style cruises throughout her fleet of five ships. All ships offer a friendly, casual yet elegant travel experience.
The fleet sails to more than 330 ports around the world, where guests can discover the culture, cuisine and history of each destination visited.
Each ship offers a number of dining options, including French-inspired cuisine developed by Jacques Pépin, the Executive Culinary Director of Oceania Cruises. The Canyon Ranch SpaClub is also available throughout the fleet, which puts an emphasis on wellness, pampering and relaxation.
With no amenities for children, their ships are best suited to well-travelled couples who like good food and style, but want informal, interesting itineraries at a reasonable price.
Mid-size, elegant ships catering to just 684 or 1,250 guests
Thanks to their size, Oceania ships can visit boutique ports and seaside villages that large ships cannot access, and because the amount of passengers is not as large as on most ships, there's not crowd and no waiting lines
Some of the finest cuisine at sea, served in a variety of distinctive open-seating restaurants, at no additional charge. Meals are never prepared en masse: every single dish is created on order, just for you.
Oceania ships feature a Gourmet culinary programme created by world-renowned Master Chef Jacques Pépin. Marina and Riviera also feature the “Bon Appétit Culinary Center,” one of the only hands-on cooking school at sea.
Oceania has one of the youngest fleet in premium-class cruising with 85% of accommodations featuring private verandas. Each of their staterooms is designed to be grand, remarkably spacious and so comfortable that each moment spent behind closed doors feels like being in an oasis all your own. Decorated with Soothing colours, soft textures and stylish furnishing, they all feature exclusive Prestige Tranquility Bed with 1,000-thread-count-linens, plus towels and Bulgari amenities.
Hands-On Enriching Activities
Marina and Riviera feature one of the only hands-on cooking school at sea, teaching you how to prepare a variety of dishes at your own fully equipped workstation. Learn everything from regional cuisines to barbecue grilling. At select ports, you may also accompany the instructor chefs while stopping for fresh ingredients ashore at local markets during Culinary Discovery Tours.
For budding artists, the Artists Loft enrichment centre is where talented artists in residence offer step by step instruction to paint with oils or watercolours, perfect your needlepoint skills or create amazing arts and crafts.
